Dauphine ski crossing, March/April 2026

Unique, magnificent, steep – that’s how you could describe this mountain range. The demands on ski tourers are high: not a day goes by without putting the crampons in the bindings or putting the crampons on the boots and tying on the skis. Personally, I am fascinated by this mountain range with its granite walls, steep slopes and narrow cols – a fantastic area for ambitious ski tourers who are not afraid of countless hairpin bends and occasional abseiling and climbing passages.
